Fantastic. Please tell me you are going to write more of these!!

Any time I really like something I read or a movie I see, I tend to deconstruct it in the search for why, exactly, it presses my buttons.  With your writing, I've figured it out.  Beyond the fact that you just plain write beautifully and the fact that you've really held true to the characters, your writing is incredibly honest.

The scene in the earlier chapter of Bella first noticing how wet her panties were -- and how fascinated she was that Edward did that to her?  I remember that moment in my life; in the bathroom after a make-out session got a little steamy, gazing down in wonder (I don't think I knew if it was normal) and then suddenly getting it:  he made me feel that way, and my body was preparing for sex, and ohmygodwow that feels grown up and seriouslythesethingsaresoaked and then knowing, without a doubt, that if I spoke in that moment, my voice would sound as husky as Kathleen Turner's in Body Heat.  I'm tempted to wonder if you somehow found my diary from 1987, but I'm guessing you had that same experience...which is exactly my point.  You write with truth.  Really beautiful, human, messy, confused, urgent truth.

And the sexy scene where Bella was wearing her white panties and Edward surprised her by going further -- by going "under" the panties?  In that chapter, you've perfectly captured the truly intoxicating wonder of those times as teens / young adults when sex is on our minds but not necessarily on the menu.  Testing limits and exploring foreplay when it was actually just "play" -- and it? Was awesome.

Finally, the way you craft the sexual scenes, factoring in restraint alongside abandon, is so dead-on.  I remember completely losing myself while fooling around with the guy who would eventually be my first, and I honest-to-god didn't know where I was or if it was day or night, and I remember so achingly well the shocking, almost out-of-body experience of reaching down hungrily to unbutton my boyfriend's fly.  I was amazed that reason and judgement were apparently on holiday and my body's desires were running the show.  And oh my god, you capture that beautifully with all the conflicted feelings in those sex scenes you write.  I remember whispering, "If anyone is going to stop this from going further it has to be you, I don't have the strength."  And I meant it.  And you wrote it.  

Your writing has hit a collective nerve, that's for sure.  A collective memory, a collective consciousness.  Well done.  I will re-read your words often, and -- like the rest of your 2500+ reviewers -- eagerly await future chapters.

Wow.  Just, wow.  Your words mean so much to me.  I just can't even express.  I think of my writing like a recipe.  Some of what goes into this writing is SM's characters, but also my experiences and my imagination and my desires.  I think there's so much truth in my writing (I love the way you put it, and it's exactly what I'm going for) because I am a very visual writer.  I see the scene in my head as if I was there.  And until I can see the scene or until the characters speak to me, I can't write it.  I can't force it.  It's just my process.  Once I do see it or the characters do talk to me, those images and voices take over until I get it out on paper.  Anyway, digressing here a bit, but just wanted to say thank you so much.

Wow.  So hot.  I really hope that further research reveals that his semen isn't poisonous to Bella.  That is so much hotter than coming in  his own hand!
