I'm just going to say that you have forever ingrained the image of Emmett doing the dance from Mean Girls in my head. This chapter made me giggle.
I think your Alice is spot on. Enjoying life completely and just thrilled about everything. I also think the meeting between her and Jasper was perfect.
I'm worried about Rose though!!!!!!! What if she freaks out?

I love Bella's first reaction to his spirit, and her reasoning! Its so... Bella! Oh I feel bad for bothering the spirit. hahaha very accurate characterization, so like her reaction to vamp edward.

hey, i just started this story and it is really great. I was wondering if you have ever heard of or read the book, A Certain Slant of Light? This story really really remindes me of it. YOu should check it out. I can't wait to continue reading, I am definately sucked in!
Author's Response: No way!! I actually own "A Certain Slant of Light", and it is probably one of the best books I've ever read :-) I read it this past summer just before "Breaking Dawn" came out. Such a sweet story. Yeah, I guess there are some similarities between that and my story now that I think about it--the whole trying to find a way to be together thing is definitely very similar; fighting against the odds, etc. And of course, there's the ghost aspect :-)

I really love this story. I hope they eventually find a way to be together, and I'm sure that they will. He's a little less controlled than a man of his time, but heck--he's been dead a long time, and probably died a virgin--I can understand--lol!

LOL yeah, since you guessed...Edward's been fantasizing about Bella in some lingerie and he wants Alice to pick some up for her :-) This will resurface later, of course. And yes, Edward also died a virgin...so it's about time he gets in on the action! The two of them are definitely going to have some fun in the future.

I also love the way that you write Alice-her exuberance is exactly like what I've imagined.
This chapter was beyond perfect. I also love the Gilmore Girls reference (ha. Rory and Logan!!!!) Plus, I loved the way you kind of set it up for Bella to think about going further with Edward. I can't wait for them to go a bit farther than kiss. Mostly just because it's refreshing to see an Edward who's a little bit more forward.
I can't wait for a Jasper and Alice encounter. I think he is in trouble. haha. She's a steamroller.

To be honest, I don't think the I love you's were too fast-that's just the nature of Edward and Bella. They were made for each other and I think that sort of attraction is something that forces people together at its most basic level. It's instant and unbreakable. So I thought you did it perfectly.
I seriously thought about Kate and Leopold when the waffle bit happened. It made me giggle for REAL! I'm glad that Bella told Alice about Edward...sort of. I'm wondering how you're going to bring them together forever though =D any hints? ha. I can't wait for Alice and Jasper to meet!!!

wow your edward is... wow. i think i was swooning halfway through his explanation of what he'd do if he could be human for a day.
im curious now though. "if only..." is that foreshadowing something? can edward actually be human? i hope so, cause right now the only way that i see edward and bella possibly being together is if bella dies. sorry.

Good observation on your part! Since you guessed it, I will say that "If only" definitely foreshadows something. Edward will have the opportunity to be human later on. But there are strings attached...and lots of drama to come with it (both good and bad drama). I probably don't have to tell you this, but if you know anyone that reads my story, please do not tell them this information!

This is an interesting story. :D I think they jumped into the 'L' word a little too fast...and the whole liking each other a whole lot in general...but it works. This way I don't have to wait through several chapters of 'lets get to know each other' stuff...
And as for how they eventually get together I have several ideas...:D I hope yours is a very good one.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yeah, I know Edward and Bella might be going a little fast...but the way I saw it was that their attraction was instant. Love at first sight I guess--I'm a sucker for that kind of thing LOL. But I'm glad you think it works :-)
