I like this idea of all the pack gathering for breakfast or for lunch. It really makes them look like a real family. I wonder what will happen with Embry and Jessica, if he'll hang out with her more often or will stop right now. But because of what you said on the forum I assume will have Jessica stick with him for a little bit longer!
I thought Charlie had forgotten the talk he wanted to have with Bella! I guess Bella counted on that, too! It'll sure be an awkaward talk.
Author's Response: Thank you! I don't plan on making a big thing of Jessica stalking Embry...well, at least not a long, drawn out, overly-described thing, but she'll definitely be getting on his nerves for a little while longer.

Great story chapter. I found the interaction between Jess and Bella comical. It does seem to me that Jess would be genuinely nice to Bella if she were to become "interested" in some of the same things.

Granted, I haven't done yet much to explain her, but I've always thought Jessica was pretty insecure and spineless. She was upset that Edward Cullen wouldn't pay her any mind, jealous of Bella because of Mike, and pretty much went along with mean, nasty Lauren. She's practically a fair-weather friend, but I don't think she's as bad as people like to make her out to be.

Author's Response: Oh, Jake broke the door handle when he ripped her door open and she screamed---right after they noticed the fires. I think a lot of people missed that because there was just so much else going on. As for Embry getting rid of Jessica, he'll do it in a way that is classic mischievous Embry ;)

Author's Response: Hmmmm...one of the wolves, huh? Well, Jared has to imprint on Kim, and Quil has to imprint on Claire, so that leaves Embry, Seth, and the soon to be turned Colin & Brady. Oh, wouldn't it be hilarious if one of the really young ones imprinted on her? She'd just die!

I can't tell you how happy I am that nobody imprinted on Jessica! I'm sure a writer could spin her into a somewhat decent character but I just don't want to see it. Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: I don't think there could be gay imprinting---I think imprinting is a matter of selecting the best mate to pass on the wold genes to the next generation, and that just wouldn't work.

Thanks for a great chapter! No, I never expected Embry to imprint on Jessica . That would have been a little bit too predictable and melodramatic, wouldn't it? And I'm really dying to find who will be the lucky girl. Somebody we know about? A new character? Anyway, it's gonna be unexpected and fun - I trust you in that.
And one more question. Is Charlie going to find out about the vamp-wolf thing one day? I hated his choice of ignorance in SM's Breaking Dawn (I actually hate Breaking Dawn as much as I adore the first three books:)). He's a wise and strong guy, he could handle about anything. Are you going to give him a chance to figure out the truth?
One more thing. I've read some of your posts on the forum lately, and now I'm quite sure Bella isn't going to end up with Edward in this wonderful universe of yours. God, it makes me so sad!!! But I love the story, so I remain your greatest fan and just keep enjoying the ride:)
Author's Response: I'm not sure about Charlie finding out. Part of me thinks it would be great, and part of me thinks it would ruin the simplicity that makes him so interesting. But it's definitely something I'll have to decide eventually.
As for the forum...well, I'm not sure what you've read there that would lead you to think one way or the other. Unless it was that part where we went a little nuts with the crack-fic ideas, but I can't imagine anyone taking that seriously. Then again, everyone seems to have their ideas, and all I can do is keep them swaying back and forth ;)

I for one am glad that Embry did not imprint on Jessica...hmmm...who could it be? It has to be a guy/girl combo. Did Jake imprint on Bella yet? She's the only female character around that has not been imrpinted on. (Jess doesn't count).
Where did Jake and Quil go?
What are Bella and the Chief going to talk about (concerning Jacob)?

Author's Response: So far in the story, the only imprinting we've "witnessed" is Paul imprinting on Rachel. Of course, Sam has already imprinted on Emily, but that leaves all the other wolves "available." Af for Jake, and Charlie's talk with Bella, that will all come out in the next few chapters.

Ha ha, very funny. I am actually reading it because I enjoy the story but after Breaking Dawn I am never having children... I would like to read about something that doesn't require death. I am mormon like Stephenie Meyer, I actually attend the same university that she did and I understand how she was trying to be "sex will ruin your life" to young girls but still... I still think that you should keep writing because you are good. This is light but entertaining, I just felt like I was slogging through the last chapter and I really didn't care what happened. I did like how you had Embry bolt, I have done that on occasion when guys are a bit...forward. Anyway, I am tired and forgive me for the repetitive nature of my last review. Author's Response: I have to say I appreciated that SM left a lot to the imagination in the books---it meant I could lend them to my little sister and not feel like I was corrupting her! But it definitely left a hole for those of us who aren't too young for that sort of thing!

Just as good as I have come to expect! (I can tell despite the crafting we all must do --the base comes naturally! I hope you don't sweat it ever being less than adequate just becase some chapters will naturally be particularly outstanding. They can't all be equally over the top or it would lessen them. The Embry/Jessica stuff is especially hysterical when I imagine Kiowa Gordon as Embry (the actor cast in the movies). KG is gorgeous with super dreamy eyes and imagining his Embry being chased by crazy, pushy Jessica cracks me up. Hee!
Author's Response: Charlie's not really being nosey---just practical. And yes, I have mentioned to people who asked that Jessica wouldn't be an imprint, but a lot of readers had no idea, so I just had some fun with it.
As for Rachel, I wouldn't even classify what she's doing as moodswings. After all, every change in attitude she's had has been aimed only at Bella, so her problem is with an individual person. In any case, bipolar disorder is a debilitating mental illness, generally marked by substance abuse, reckless behavior, financial & legal troubles, relationship issues, decrease in cognitive function, and suicidal thoughts. It's unfortunate that the term is used so loosely nowadays, as people seem to be taking it less seriously. I've suffered with bipolar disorder for over 20 years, and it's taken away nearly every decent thing I might have had in my life. I wouldn't subject another person, fictional or not, to that kind of life.
