Wow, I wasn't expecting a confrontation so quickly. Although, I guess maybe this is the "little" confrontation where James learns it won't be so easy now....then he starts plotting. Or maybe you're just getting him out of the way so we can focus on Edward? I'll be waiting to see.

Angry protective Edward just never gets old. But you gave them a good reason for it, on both sides. And honestly, the original Bella could have easily ended up that way, being the giver and the caretaker and never standing up for herself.
Author's Response: I know right! He's just so damn sexy...my husband is jealous. Anyways! Yeah that's what I was thinking too, I'm trying to make her a little more aware of what she wants and how to stand up for it in the story. I just hope I do a good enought job of it! I really like this story so far. You are doing a good job with the emotions that Bella must be feeling now. I am really looking forward to an update.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah I really seem to identify with Bella (not that I've ever been abused because I haven't!), so she's pretty easy for me to write...it's everyone else that I'm worried about writing. Chapter 3 was just uploaded and chapter 4 will be done before I sleep tonight!
