Mike's an idiot for not telling Edward about his little tryst.  He's gonna find out eventually and then the lying about it would be so much worse than the affair to begin with.  Especially when they could already have a potential suspect on the attempted hacking.  At first I thought it was going to be Heidi trying to get at the files, until it said Lauren. Of course she could be using that as a cover name. Or she could be paying Lauren to get at the files too.  There are so many possibilities!

Jacob worries me with his very abrupt and livid departure. I'm concerned about what he could get up to, or who could use him to mess with B&E.  The temper didn't come as a shock though.  He's always got that temper. (Probably one of the reasons I like stories where he's an abusive SOB who ends up in jail. It fits better with his character in the books. He's always a jealous, manipulative jerk.)  I also really hope that the Volturi bros aren't crazy creepy like in the books.

And at least Bella is contemplating whether or not she loves Edward. She better not foul it up whenever he gets about to blurting it out.  

Aww so cute.  Though I wasn't loving Alice's interruption. It actually seemed a bit selfish of her to stay when she knew it was their first weekend to really get to know each other. But it was nice to see the way they all interact together. It's good to know they can all hang out without someone feeling left out or bored.

I think Charlie's being a bit childish about Bella being out at the ranch. I mean, yeah, they slept out in the barn together, but seeing as how their clothes weren't mussed (other than the normal sleeping wrinkling) it was pretty clear that nothing untoward happened. Plus, I think they're smart enough to not get caught if they had had sex in the barn. He and Seth could have joined them all for breakfast instead of pouting and stomping off to the diner.  And yeah, I know she's his baby girl but she's 25. She's been grown and living on her own for a while now. What does he think she's been up to an hour and a half away in Dallas? 

Oh I hope the foal's alright, but seriously, with Sue, Leah and Seth staying at his house and him keeping that AND the relationship with Sue a secret from Bella, wouldn't it be hypocritical for him to have anything to say about Bella staying with Edward for the weekend? Besides, she's staying in a completely separate bedroom. And she's a grown woman. Daddy can get over it.

Oh Hallelujah!! I'm so glad that Jacob was a disappointment! AND B&E are pretty much already head over heels for each other.  I love also that Esme approves.  I hate it when I read a story and Esme or Carlisle think Bella's not good enough for their baby boy.  Granted, we haven't seen Carlisle's reaction yet, but given Esme's, even if Carlisle is a stick-in-the-mud, she'll set him straight ;)

OK, already in love with this story! I can't wait for B&E to meet again.  I hope it's soon :) 

And I don't know about anyone else, but I am by far NOT offended by your usage of the southern dialect (I'm from NC). It's nice to "hear" people in a story that talk like me!

I can't wait to see how Edward gets out of this..... I still think he should say he did it as a business deal for Jasper and she just happens to write for Jasper?

Yes we knew that but both things at the same time no. How the hell is he going to get out of this one? Bella is going to be one pissed of women. But then again Edward is so cute how can she stay mad for long. I guess well find out in the next chapter. God I hope we have seen the last of that women I can't even type her name she is a bad word. Till we meet again in the next chapter.

I'm glad that they resolved everything with the misunderstanding...I hope someone takes care of Heidi so she gets what she deserves.

Now, I just hope this goes away just as quickly...
