I'm so excited that they're having a baby!  And I have to agree with Bella.  Dr. Reid is way hot!  Great chapter!

Author's Response:

Dr Reid is the hottest. I'm not even lying. I dare someone to contest that fact.

Thanks for reading and reviewing! Here's your teaser to this week's update!

I was barely through the door before Edward’s arms were around me in an almost bone-crushing hug, and my surprise for him forgotten.

“I’m so glad you’re back,” he breathed into my neck, kissing below my ear several times before lifting his head to look at me. “Why didn’t you call?”

“Uh... I forgot? Sorry...” What the hell was going on with him? Something definitely wasn’t right.

“I asked you to let me know when you were on your way home,” he stated firmly, his eyes flashing what looked like mild irritation, before turning from me and heading for the kitchen where he had started to prepare dinner.

Following him, I set the bag on the island and crossed my arms across my body defensively; my frustration had finally reaching its peak. “I said I was sorry. Had I known it was such a big deal, I’d have called.” Were we seriously fighting about me not calling when he knew I wasn’t going to be gone long? For crying out loud, he’d made the trip into town before, it’s not like he had no idea as to an approximate timeframe for when I’d return.

I was staring at his back as he placed his hands flat on the counter in front of him, slumping his head and shoulders almost like he had been defeated. “I was just ... worried,” he confessed, his voice soft and barely audible.

“About what? You knew where I was...” I was growing more and more confused as time went on.

He snapped his head around, his eyebrows knit together. “Did I?”

Whoa. What?

I knew it! I knew you were going there... I think it's a great road for them to go down together. I'm very curious about the cold ones legend and what Bella and Bones heard outside the tent! Oh, and the tent lemon... delicious! Thank you for another lovely chapter :)

I always enjoy writing new lemons--you know why ;)

Thanks for reading and reviewing! I'll be updating today!!!

I KNEW IT!!!!! YES!!!! I love it so much!  This chapter was so great, this has been one of my most favorite fan fictions ever.  The part where Bella is telling the story of the Quileute legends and Emmett cracks up over the sparkly vampires...yeah, that made me giggle a little.  So excited you are doing a sequel to this story because there is NO WAY I am close to done with this!  Can't wait for the next update!

Author's Response:

The Cold One legend was intended for that purpose alone. It was meant to be funny, I mean, sparkly vampires, really? :P

So glad you're on board for the sequel. It won't happen directly after this one as I have a few other projects to get out of my brain first, but I hope to get to it soon enough!

#1: LOVE this story. Seriously. I await the new chapters like they're my newest crack stash.

#2: this Bella was always pretty cool to me but two things she said knocked her into complete awesomeness: Tetris (how I pack and work as well) and Dr. Reid (he's been my favorite since the beginning).

I'm excited to see where you go with this story. And sequel? Sweet. Sign me up.

Author's Response:

#1: Crack is the key to life (totally kidding)

#2: Bella is complete awesomeness. Tetris and Reid definitely amplified that fact.

#3: You rock and I loved your review ;)

I figured preggers but that's fine! I understand how Edward is worried that Bella may be less than pleased but think it's just her worries about being a mother. They need to talk before any undue stress arises.
The bump in the night? Maybe a scorned Newton? Whatever or whoever...hope it's caught & no harm to our happy campers.
Good chapter...thanks for updating soon! I hate Cliffies!

Yay! PReggers! I actually kinda guessed it though. Saw it coming.

Oh, I so know how to play bag tetris! I had to do this on my last trip I went on - trying to get all the things home for everyone plus my clothes, yeah, that was fun finding all those perfect places for things.

And I so agree with Bella! Matthew Gray Gubler all the way! I get into this same debate with one of my friends... who the hottest actor on Criminal Minds is. -laighs-

Author's Response:

Yeah, I wasn't doing a good job at keeping it hidden. I had written it to go either way and decided this was the best way for character growth after all they've been through.

Bag tetris is the BEST! Only falling second to MGG. *mmmmmmm*

I'm happy with the results.  I just wish Bella would explain her fears of telling everyone and then something happening (miscarriage, false positive, etc...)  Wanting to make it official by seeing the doctor for formal testing.  She has to make sure she stresses to Edward that she wants the baby.  He still feels that she is upset about it because it will stop her from competing next year.  Also express her fears about being a mother.  Just the way she treats little baby Bones should show her a little bit how well she would be a mother.  She was disappointed just like he was when her cycle showed up that she wasn't pregnant.  Now with the pregnancy test showing positive she's just as excited and happy as Edward.  Because the child she is carrying is a part of them both.  Keeping it to themselves for awhile getting used to the idea making  it their secret, just the two of them making  it special.  She will want to tell them when she's a little surer that nothing will go wrong and her friends and family won't be hurt.  Since it was so close to the pain of loss caused by what Kate put them all through.  The camping trip was great.  Bella craving steak, hamburgers, eggs, just plain MEAT. Emmett and his scary stories.  Playing charades with Bella and Edward winning the most matches just means they're the quickest at figuring out the clues or maybe adding the most titles to the bowl.  S'mores the best part of camping out and campfire burning besides keeping warm.  The more toasted marshmellows the better to enjoy.  I can understand where Edward is having his doubts about what Bella might be feeling.  Kate aborted his baby while he was gone. Bella doesn't want to tell anyone.  He wants to shout it at the top of his lungs.  She's reserved and wants to keep it secret.  He's afraid she's not happy because the timing is all wrong.  Afraid she's angry ruining her life.  She's not just need to really talk it out.

Author's Response:

Yes, they really just need to talk about it!! That's the biggest thing. And they will figure it out soon enough.

“Did I?”

Whoa. What?

A sequel? Yay!  It's nice reading a story that updates regularly AND keeps things interesting.

We used to camp in tents but now that I'm older I much prefer a bed and a flushing toilet.  The camping sequence did bring back fond memories though.  I'm a little ocd when placing my items in the cart as well as in the bag.  Nothing wrong with that, right?

Author's Response:

I do try to update regularly and keep it interesting! It's what I do... If I ever get boring, let me know! I'll spice that shit right up!!

I don't mind camping in tents with the new AWESOME sleeping bags you can get, however, I do require flushable toilets and running water. This mama bear doesn't do outhouses or squatting. No thank you!

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with Tetris'ing your way through life. It's neat and organized... It's all good! I'm surprised how many people I got to confess that with this chapter! LOL!

I drive my husband nuts with the bagging groceries and tetrisness, too. Packing a car, not so much, cause then the military packing skills come in handy for both of us... and no, I don't mean cram (although we do a lot of that, too).

And just who is stalking Bella and Edward? Cause if there are no animal prints, then its probably a human and they just think it is their prints. Kate come back to harrass them??

Author's Response:

I'll say you're the only one to guess Kate ;)

I don't care if some people think it is cliche....honestly...it flowed perfectly.   They had sex...no protection...she got pregnant.   Duh?   Happens all the time, lol.   Loved it personally.   Again, written very well, and loved how Edward was being so protective, and how he wanted to do things for Bella to make her happy.    Got to love a considerate boyfriend/soon to be daddy.    Loved the scenes by the fire, and all of the "that's what she/he said" parts.   Very Emmett!   Loved the story time, and how Bella and Edward finally were able to talk about how they are feeling, well, at least a little.    His hand always resting on her stomach.  Gush!   Sorry, I"m a romantic at heart, and I think she's still young and has plenty of time to compete in the ring, and have HER family there to support here.   No reason why she can't have this baby and go right into competing.   Love your story and can't wait for the update.    Yay!!!

Author's Response:

Yes, it's life and it was the only way to get the character growth that these two need to fully move on from their pasts (well, mostly Edward)

That's what she said is my most favourite joke ever. I'm bacally a 12 year old in an almost-30 year old body. I have a sickness :P

Glad you amended your "they talked" with "well, a little" LOL! Glad you caught that!

I'm so very glad they are expecting. Hopefully it's a successful pregnancy. It would not be fair to Edward to lose another child. Love your story and looking forward to much much more!

Author's Response:

I assure you the pregnancy will be full-term. Nothing bad will happen :)

You had me until the pregnancy. It's overplayed and, while I liked your story, I won't continue reading.

Author's Response:

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you find a story that caters more toward what you're looking for.

C'est la vie.
