'I was accustomed to AJ's voice in my head; I didn’t always distinguish that he didn’t actually speak aloud.' He not only reads, but projects thoughts. Interesting.

'"One decision wouldn't ensure others didn't happen," Jasper snapped. "We will never know how it could have been. You need to give up that fantasy and face this reality. Stop blaming us for your life." His anger pouring off of him as he stood facing me.'

Hard to side with one or the other without knowing the whole story...

'I hadn't told Japer what happened because I didn't want to hurt him, but maybe that's what I needed to do. The truth would come out and I needed to be the one to tell it.'

Ah, this seems promising! I admit I'm still groping in the dark here, so I will enjoy some light. :)

Well, I still don't know which one James was after, or if it were both, but now I know they were together in the studio. I wonder who saved Anna from the Change.

I have to ask, doesn't Bella remember anything from her human life? I don't belive it will be zero. For one thing, she didn't became a monster.

How much does she remember of Edward?

I think I get why did Rosalie like Anna. She had resentment against Bella because she wanted to be a vampire; Anna didn't have it against her. I just can't put my finger yet on how did she became close to Jasper.

So, Victoria attacked, they lost Rosalie and the family disintegrated? How tragic. :(

Anna blames herself...Was after her that James was, instead of Bella?

How odd that Anna, out of everyone else, made such deep friendship with Jasper and Rosalie, the most averse Cullens about approaching humans, for different reasons. :-/

I'm really curious about the background of these four. How Anna fits in it. How their life was different from canon.

Just to put the cards on the table, I will guess AJ and Ellie are Bella's kids, with Edward. I wonder who changed her, since he left, presumably, way before the pregnancy was known.

Weird that it happened, in the New Moon phase, given Edward's scruples in crossing this kind of line with her. :-/

What else? Hmm, Dr. John is a jerk; and, since Jasper is there, the other Cullens can't be far. I just wish I knew more to guess the real implications of it. But I know enough to expect bad things. :(
