I get why he did what he did but it doesn't make up for anything.  Every relationship cannot exist without trust...Edward needs to trust in order to gain trust...He needs her to fall in love with him all over again...

Great chapter....can't wait for 6

Author's Response:

He needs to give her a reason to really fall in love with him the first time and not the idea of him she had, I think. They've got a lot of work to do to get there!

Thank you!

I don't hate Edward. Never did. Bella's the one that is irritating. Her legs must be tired from all the running. Now it's time for her to act like a big girl.

Author's Response:

Her big girl panties are migrating from the back of the underwear drawer. LOL! Thank you!

i think the last conversation they had will help them... i feel like this was the yelling fight that was needed to get everything off their chests. can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Thank you! It will surely help, if nothing else, and they have to start talking!

Your writing is excellent and I love the story!  Yu give such eemess and authentic detail.  You stay true to real emotion that I have becme invested in the charactes

as for Assward- he is an immature Prat, as most men re want to be.  He lies, lives in denail and the land of selfish, playing at being a man when he is truely still a boy.  I wish Esme and Carlisle would wake up and give some advice to idiotward on how to be a man and help Miss babybella advice on hope to cope.  Sofar it's the slutty and selfish leaing the cluless!

See i told yu i am invested! :O)  please keep up the great work

Thanks for sharing

Author's Response:

Thank you very much! I love your character descriptions--they crack me up!

i have on leg on the edward train...please post soon to see if i am back on edward full ride. Love story- different

Author's Response:

There will be a full update next Wednesday-ish and a teaser this weekend. If I can eke it out, there might be an outtake too.

Thank you!

I see hope at the end of the tunnel...but it's a really long long long way there. Edward does need to pull his head out of his ass :)

Author's Response:

Yep, that tunnel's pretty long. If you wave, though, I might be able to see you! Thank you!

I don't hate him, I think they've got some major communication issues and this probably isn't helped by the fact that Bella keeps running away.

Author's Response:

They do have communication issues, but will start working on them soon. Thank you!

Reviewer: keola (Signed) · Date: October 12, 2010 10:07 PM · On: Chapter 5: Conversations

yeah I still hate him he's a douchbag and an idiot and his logic for staying away from bella doens't make sense. to me it's a plot flaw. nutthe story is engaging

Author's Response:

He's a man and doesn't always use the same logic we would. I know my hubs never does and he thinks I'm the crazy one.

Thank you!

Ya still not liking what edward did...and really not knowing how he could ever make it up to bella/fix things...I love love love this story...thanks so much for posting more...(-=

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! He's not sure if he can do it either, but he's going to try! Thank you!

i've read a few people reviews and i'm sitting here agreeing with just about everything that was said ,i to wonder who the photographer was and i'm also glad that she told him what she thought pity it was 2 years in the making,i honestly hope that he takes on board what she said about wanting to be loved and have what alice and jasper have and stop giving her things instead of giving her what she really needs which is him, another thing i would want to see happening is him severing all ties with tanya he claims she was his friend but wouldn't surprise me if shes the one with sticky fingers (as well as loose knickers) and seriously getting a doctors report whilst great to know that he's not diseased, what a great way to shove the knife in just a little bit further and then accuse her of cheating when she was really being assaulted ...wow great husband

Author's Response:

He does have some issues, but you will see him start to come around soon. He heard the message.

Thank you! I would answer more but I would be giving too much away.

She doesn't want to be treated lika a little girl and she runs away 'cause she can't face what she just said? Seriously?

Pretty good story. Should be good to see where it goes next. Some serious holes in the story: where in the western world can you marry someone off at 15 without the courts going ballistic?

Author's Response:

You can in the US if there is parental consent and no one objects. Sad, but true.

She'll get there. Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I love it whenever Bella grows a pair in fanfiction. :) Makes her more appealing as a character. Can we get a little taste of EPOV during this confrontation?

Ed is a real idiot. He was too busy thinking of the effect Bella had on him to look out for her needs and give her the attention and affection she needed. But, of course, as a man he can't seperate those two things from sex because of his feelings for her. While he obviously can with Tanya, since he has little feeling for her. He went wrong in suppressing his attraction and not trusting himself instead of talking to her about it and seeing how she felt about the situation.

Please update soon! I await eagerly!!!! And I hope my assessment wasn't too off...

P.S. In regards to the collage and its effect on Edward. I meant that wouldn't he notice how little there was on it and how she knew so little of him? Nothing remotely intimate, as a wife should know.

Things are so awkward...This is going to have to be taken slowly. But I can't see how they would pick up the pieces and fix the two years worth of damage. But I'm sure you'll amaze me in how you plan to reconcile them, if at all...*crosses fingers for the first option*

But I can't help but feel like there is even more DRAMA coming our way first. Yes, it needed all caps, due to the size of the surely impending DRAMA.

Please! Update! Soon!

Author's Response:

Your assessment is spot on. As female readers, we tend to forget that Edward is a man. They don't think like we do. (One of my fave authors put it like this: Men don't say--Her breasts were so voluptuous and I wanted to take my time in worshipping her slowly. They say--Boobs. Me like. Want to touch. Ooh, soft.)

He did notice the collage, but that is his doing and he knows that. He expects that.

I am going to try to do an outtake of EPOV for you all sometime soon. (This weekend is feeling a little optimistic, but I'm going to try).

Thank you!

yes, I still want to punch Edward really hard in the stomach. Then I'd feel bad and nurse him back to health but I still think it's deserved. Its time Edward stopped treating her like a little girl under his protection and more like his wife. He does this in the book series too and it always made me want to smack him upside his pretty, sparkling head.

Author's Response:

Ah ha! You hit the nail on the head. He's a protector by nature and this is a tough spot for them both. They have a long way to go.

LOL! Great chapter!  <3
I wonder who took the pictures of Bella!  Could it be Tanya trying to start stuff...or is it someone else??  oooooo can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Oh, oh! There's that pesky little picture problem! LOL!

Thank you! There's lots more to come!

Obviously I'm still pissed at Edward, he never did anything to make Bella feel loved and cherished, he never fought for her, he dishonored her, etc.

But Bella isn't without her faults. She says she wants to move passed this and work everything out with Edward, but she isn't communicating with him, and she keeps vacillating on if she gives him a chance or not. It's like she's saying in her head: "Ok, I'm going to sit down and talk rationally with you... but you just pissed me off again with something you said, so now I'm going to storm off in a huff." She just needs to sit down and listen to everything he has to say, maybe even cry while she's there, and when he's done talking THEN she can storm off in a huff...

But I'm not going to be too hard on her, since being in this situation would mean that all of your actions would be determined by your emotions, not rationale.

Author's Response:

It is tough for both of them and sometimes that is hard to remember. He didn't want to hurt her and he did. And her ups and downs, while understandable, are also very painful to him. He gets to deal with it though, because he's the cause. That's a huge burden to bear.

And Bella--she's out of her depth on this one.

Thank you!

Reviewer: twilight lover (Signed) · Date: October 12, 2010 07:40 PM · On: Chapter 5: Conversations

I dont know. This is such a difficult story line. I mean i would be so freaking pissed if I was Bella, and hurt and depressed and completely emotional. I mean your husband cant find pleasure in you so he has to find an outlet! And Tanya too! :(

But then there is the age difference and arranged marriage thing. I completely understand how Edward would feel, I mean how are you supposed to explain to someone you dont know how you feel about their age and sex ... it's just complicated.

Now that isnt saying that I agree with what Edward did at all. I do not agree. I dont think I would be able to forgive him ...

And after that admission by Bella ... I wonder what his reaction to that will be?!?!? I think I wouldve run out of the house and just kept running if I was Bella.

LOVE this story ... so much !!!! please update soon !!!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! It really is a difficult position for both of them. I know how I would have felt had my husband told me I was too young for him and then have to be reminded of that in each interaction. It doesn't excuse his behavior, just adds another wrinkle.

I may do an EPOV outtake of this scene if I can get it right and I will post it separately if I do. Also, watch the forum for a teaser this weekend!

Edward is a heinous douchebag. And even when he is trying to make things right, he still acts like a righteous ass. If I was Bella, I would have divorced Edward so fast that he wouldn't know what hit him. Then I would have outed him to everyone as a liar and a cheater. Tanya is awful, but she isn't the one who is married. It was Edward's responsability to keep it in his pants, and he couldn't even manage to do that without mucking it up.

Author's Response:

LOL! That's harsh! He definitely screwed up, that's for sure! Thank you, though, for reviewing and letting me know what you think!

Very interesting story!  I am hooked forsure. Very different from 'Vegas'... wish there were a couple dozen more chapters ;) because my 3 year old is home sick today, and he is watching Nick.. and this seems much more entertaining!

Questions.... How old is Edward??  Who are the cullens??  Edward, Emmett and Jasper???  Edward, Rose and Jasper???  It sounded like Alice worked for the Cullens at one point, but she is married into the family?

Can't wait for an update!

Author's Response:

Yes, this is a VERY different story from Vegas! And I can't blame you for not wanting to watch Nick!

You will find out more on the Cullen dynamic in later chapters. Edward is the oldest at 25, his twin siblings, Jasper and Rose are 23, Emmett is 23, Alice is 21 and Bella is 18. (This will be explained in later chapters but Alice's mom worked for the Cullens, not Alice).

Thank you!

OMG I love this story soooo much...i wish there was more to read lol. I can't wait for more of this. Its such a good storyline and your writing is perfect. I've been looking for a really good story to read all day and I just found it...can't wait for more update soon!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I plan to update once a week and I post info and teasers on the forum.

Reviewer: venus308 (Signed) · Date: October 07, 2010 06:52 PM · On: Chapter 4: Coming Home

This is really painfull to say, but first all I'm a bit pissed off at Bella cause she considers a football game more important than talking to Edward about the state of their marriage! As for communacation they both suck at it!!! They don't communacate at all!! Edward should have taken the inititive of talking to Bella first instead of just leting her just ask questions considering that Bella seems to be the type to just fly off the handle reather than dealing. and Bella hasn't spoken to anyone in the family either about what went on as to how she felt Edward was treating her before the shit hit the fan! I'd like to back slap both of them behind their heads for there immaturaty and stupidty. I think the angst factor is getting a bit too melodramatic and contrived in this story.

Author's Response:

They do have communication issues and that is the root of their problems. Please understand that the story starts in the middle of the drama and the rest of the story is it working its way out. Infidelity is something that is very hard to deal with, especially when one feels unwanted anyway.

Thank you for reading. I hope that you will at least read a little farther and see how I have planned to resolve it.
