I am really glad to read about Bella having some success at avoiding alcohol. Loved how she teased Edward with a fake wedding dress and stripped for him. He does need to loosen up some more. hehehe

Reviewer: JRParz (Signed) · Date: February 15, 2013 01:32 PM · On: Wedding Bells

Ah yes...  I guess the females out there would love this chapter, but given I'm not female, it was... oh well... I got through it anyway.  (grinning)

Thanks as usual for sharing your talent and to think - I still have to endure another wedding when Edward and Bella finally have their wedding.  Unggghhhh.  Just kidding.

Woohoo! That was some wedding. I love Bella & Tanya's meeting

i'm surprised no one reacted at Bella being addressed as Platt- Esme's human name

Great chapter! I loved it!

I'm glad that things are going well for Bella. She's getting better day by day. I loved her interaction with Tanya. It seems like she may have another friend. :)

I can't wait to see what will happen next!

Alright... just reread this tale as a refresher, now that I'm ready to jot down a few notes...

Cam certainly went from angry to sympathetically rational in a short span, didn't she?  Yet, I don't mind... it made the reader feel good that Bella was ending this chapter in her life settled.  Overall a powerful chapter and I loved the little tidbit about Lauren and Jessica in the end.

You know... it isn't a far stretch making Jacob be such an ass, for there were times he was just as anal when SM was writing him.  So, no... I wasn't surprised, and part of me doesn't trust him.

I loved the talk between "mother" and Bella, as Esme got to truly understand the pain Bella was in during that dark period in her life.

I just love that Seth has imprinted on Lola - for it allows Bella to share "their" rocovery.  I know... I'm speculating, but where else would you do with this?  I look forward to Lola's reaction when she learns all about the supernatural.  :-)

And finally, you have Edward and Bella in a place that mirrors (in a way) real life.  Simply put... all relationships have give and take, and at times set backs... but if love exists, then love prevails, and given I'm a "shipper" when it comes to Kristen and Rob, it brings a smile to my face.

Thanks as usual for sharing your talent - for you truly are a superior writer!

Dearest JR,

Admist all the termoil you made me want to really finish this...thank you.

I’m sorry about the delay and hope you’re still with me.

Bella POV

We were sitting in the dining room going over the schedule for vendors and other odds and ends when Alice came in carrying one of the extra centerpieces to show us some last minute change she’s thought up. As she glided across the room, she was hit with a vision and dropped the crystal vase.

“What’s wrong, Alice?” Rose called out to her, worry coloring her tone.

“Is it the Volturi?” Esme asked, clearly panicked.

“Come on, Alice, snap out of it and tell us what’s going on,” I demanded.

“The dress…Rose, the cleaner can’t get that yellow stain out of the dress. They’re going to keep trying…but what will you wear?” Alice announced.

Rose had decided to wear her original wedding dress from 1935, but it hadn’t been preserved perfectly and they were trying to get some discoloration out of the fabric. I had seen the gown and it was stunning, stain aside. It was a champaign color and had a beading that went around her breasts, over her shoulder, and cascaded down the back on the dress and down the mini train. I told her that something about the dress reminded me of Ginger from Gilligan’s Island but had been told I was wrong—however, I stand by my comment.

“Is there any chance they’ll fix it?” Rose wondered.

“I can’t tell. This wasn’t supposed to happen. I saw you in that dress. I don’t know what changed,” Alice insisted.

“I guess we’ll just have to go dress shopping,” I interjected, trying to defuse the situation.

“She can’t wear something off the rack,” Alice cried in horror.

“Well, I don’t see how we have enough time to make a dress. Maybe buy one, and you can alter it or something,” Esme offered as a suggestion.

“That might work,” Alice said.

“Besides, my dress might be fine…I’ll just have this one as backup, right?” Rose asked.

“Yeah, backup. Okay, I’ll make a few calls, and we’ll start the dress hunt tomorrow.”

That was how I found myself being led into one of the most exclusive bridal boutiques in New York City the next day.”

Thank you for reading and reviewing it means a lot to me.

Cheers,

~E

WOW...this chapter certainly tied up a lot of loose ends.  I think that Edward and Bella have finally found their "bond" together and love one another very much.  I think that Jacob is just jealous of Edward because he has Bella and Jacob does not.  I love both of them.  THANKS FOR THE AWESOME WRITING.  Sher
