Woow...I'm scared of Bella too :L Great chapter, loved it!

Reviewer: owenic (Signed) · Date: November 28, 2010 12:55 AM · On: Reckoning

I think Bella did well with Renee.  Her mum was never overly maternal, more of a friend, and I think you showed that.

Off to the next chapter...

Hey this was a great chap lol what are the men like XD

Author's Response:

Hey Red,

Thank you, i think so. They are just overcomplicating everything.

This is the unbet’d teaser:

Alice POV

I entered through Bella’s open window and found her sitting on her bed knees under her chin, arms wrapped around her staring at the floor, just like in my vision.

“Bella!” I called and she did not respond.

“Hi, Bella,” I chirruped. She looked up and relief flooded her face.

“Hi, Alice.” from her tone, I could deduce that she was tired though it was only early morning.

“Here is the plan Bella, you go take your ‘human moment’ that you missed due to…. interruptions,” I chose my words carefully not wanting to upset her; the word distraction was a no-no. I had seen she would not be responsive to talking right away so I devised a plan, and once I was set on my course of action I had a vision to reinforced that I was of course, right.

Why people doubt me I will never know, I thought.

“Meanwhile I will go and make you some breakfast, then you can take a nap and we can talk, and after that Esme is coming over because she has been very concerned about you since we have been back” I explained my master plan.

“Now all you have to do is tell me what you want to eat?” I informed her.

“You don’t have to do this, Alice,” she told me.

“Bella, this is what sister are for. I love you and right now you need someone to take care of you because all you do is take care of everyone else. I’ll repeat this only once more, what to you want to eat?”

“I’m not hungry,” she said sadly.”

I hope you liked it.

Thank you again for reading and reviewing, I so appreciate the time it takes.

Cheers,

Oh E,

I'm glad they let him have it.  His brothers and sisters, that is.  He needed to hear that...

I can't wait to hear what Esme says.  I'm off to read that now.  =)

Author's Response:

Hey Nic,

He did, I hope you like Esme's take on things.

Have fun.

Hi E,

It was good to see Carlisle tell Edward how hard it was on Alice and Esme.  =)  Tough love, indeed.

Author's Response:

Hey Nic,

I know, I don't think Edward really appreciated that he didn't only hurt Bella.

Thank for the stars bb.

Hey E,

I've just started taking some time to read again and decided to start with this story.

I like where it's going...  Edward did get off the hook too easily (though I'm sure I'd have forgiven him the same lol).

Hey Nic,

OMG bb 5 stars? you are the best. Thanks for taking the time to read this it means a lot to me.

She will forgive him, this is an in cannon story.

LOL Go Rosie. He is such a fucking idiot. I can't believe he was that dumb. When it comes to a relationship he is just as ignorant as she is but has yet to realize it.

Author's Response:

Hey JShay,

Rosie, did the right thing. True, he always masked his failing behind concern but really he is just a 17 yr old boy in love for the first time, and everyone messes up the first time.

Good to see what she was thinking!

Author's Response:

Hey dnageek,

I'm so happy i though so, Not everyone loved the other side, because it was much the same. I thought it had to be done so you understood them both in the next three chapters.

Here is the next teaser, hope you like it!

Alice POV

I waited for my brother to jump down from the window.

When he did he tried to walk past me, I blocked his way, I may be small but I am fast.

Edward, I have one question for you: Are you determined to make both you and Bella miserable?

My question shocked him, as I knew it would. I wanted him to have this conversation with me. I was not letting him off as easy as I had back at home.

Was that really only yesterday morning? So much had happened, and so many decisions had been made, changed, and were left hanging in the air. I had to fix this and this was the only way I could see to get it through his think un-dead scull, I thought to myself.

“No,” he muttered. Just as he had with Bella in her room, he did not dare to meet my gaze. He simply stared at his feet, as if they were fascinating.

Then go home, don’t push her. She has been thought enough because of us, you in particular. She needs this Edward. Go home and replay that conversation and think about what Bella is truly asking you. Right now you still have not figured it out. You know for someone who is so intelligent, you can be awfully obtuse and irritating.

“All right, Alice,” he said dejectedly and still would not meet my gaze. He looked like a child who had just found out there was not a Santa Claus, utterly devastated. I could tell him that he it was going to work out, I could ease his fears, and make this a lot easier; but I owed it to Bella to let him figure it out on his own. No, matter how long it took, he would figure it out. Of that I was certain. I just didn’t know how long it would take; hopefully it would be while Bella was still human.

We stood in silence for a moment.

“I have to go to Bella,” I said aloud.

He nodded in understanding, and without speaking out looking at me, started running.

Thank you so much for not only reading but taking the time to review.

Author's Response:

Hey Liciapook25,

Ok I didn't remember wither  but a fan of this story told me that AFTER the ch where he picked the roses came out. I think (could be wrong) but in the book she mentions him sending the roses. Because of the review I went to the Januay forum, where I about 10 others are like all the time (Lol) and asked the girls what to do.

1) ignore it

2) explain it

3) write an Author's Note apologizing and explaining that we'll just pretend it didn't happen.

So Nic, was the one who came up with the explanation. That is why I thanked her. I just mentioned that everyone should read january because I love that story and nic. So no there are not any mentions of red roses/royce/rosalie in january.

Once nic gave me the direction I re-wrote the conversation Rose and edward have and quite frankly it is much better and has more depth then the original, because the original was about how the roses were the linking factor (other than the bride and groom) between all of Rose and Emmett's weddings.

I hope my ramble makes sense. PM  me if it doesn't I always respond.

Thanks for taking the time to read and review.

cheers,

~E
