Wow! I can't wait to see how Edward is going to fare when he returns! Please post soon!

Great stuff...can't wait for the next chapter

I could practically hear Rose saying, "That bitch" to Alice's text. These were some good chapters! I think they're both wrong, kind of. Trying to forget everything won't work, but pushing the argument may not have been smart either. Great job, can't wait for more!

Really enjoy all of your work - looking forward to where this leads - can't figure out on my own what Bella has planned - thanks for a different take on "poor me" Bella -

I'm still trying to picture Esme knocking on the window!  I'm glad the "girls" are there for Bella.  Now if we can just get Emoward to chill!

i love how the cullen women are closing ranks around bella. no one in the family is going to let edward be a complete idiot again. he is going to fix this whether he likes it or not ;)

Author's Response:

Hey seadragon,

yup the cullen gals protect their own. nope not gonna happen again. He wants to though, he REALLY does and all this crap he has pulled comes from a good place, a misguided place of love.

Here is the un-beta’d teaser.

““Where’s Edward?” Charlie scowled when he said the name.

“He’s not coming over tonight,” I said, not looking him in the eye. I hated lying to Charlie, even thought I had done so much of it lately.

“What did he do now?” he raged. Before I could answer he continued, “Did you have a fight? Did he hurt you, again? Is he leaving you again? So, help me…” he continued, and I cut him off.

“No, he is not leaving. Please don’t speak about him like that! His parents decided he was coming over too often, and had to stay home as part of his punishment. We are going to be seeing each other at school Monday, and they wanted him at home tonight. He apologized profusely because of it,” I stated angrily.

Charlie didn’t believe me. He just beamed, and thought that Edward was not leaving but that we were fighting.  This made my temper flare, but I reined it in.”

Okay before I get into the reason why understand this will probably change/be edited/ expanded etc…  but it is the best I could give you right now, read further to understand why. So, it’ll be a while before the final chapter is published because I’m considering a sequel. If I do that I have to re-write the chapter, which I was not satisfied with at all. I’m sorry it’ll be a few weeks, I may or may not do the sequel but either way the chapter is not up to snuff and this story deserves a better ending. Thank you SO much for reading and reviewing this story it means the world to me. Thank you again!

The idea of the two out-takes sounds good. Thanks for posting this beautifully written chapter, I love the detail you are going into, I always felt SM rushed the whole aftermath of the reunion and you are successfully filling in the gaps of what needed to happen in order for Edward and Bella to move on together.

Love it!! I must say it was the one thing in the books that bothered me. I needed Bella to have her time with the Cullens to let them each apologise for leaving her and for them to agnolage the damage their leaving did to all of them. So once again I must say very very well done. The story feels like it could be missing chapters between New Moon and Eclipse.

Can't argue with Bella, Esme is more of a mother-figure than Renee ever was. It is so good for Bella's mental health to be able to unload on Alice and Esme, secure in the knowledge she's sharing with two women that love Edward nearly as much as she does. I have my fingers and toes crossed that Edward will get that lightbulb over his head and get what Bella is trying to tell him. I want so much for them to be together, it hurts them both to be seperated, as history shows.

A little too cryptic, I would say. Due to the fact that one cannot read a chapter after the previous one, one tends to forget details and eventually can't figure it out the psycological build up.

Hi Camilla,

oh sorry, it was an editing issue on my part. I had a lot of edits to do once i got it back and didn't have the time. I don't like working in dribs and drabs, so I waited until I could edit it right through.

An interesting chapter. But the discussion about texting Rose was more then cheesy and had no imput on the chapter. You very well could have left that out.

Other then that you have done a good job.

Author's Response:

Hey IssaBissa,

Thanks and thanks for the awesome rating.

Sorry, if it was cheesy, it needed to be done because it fit with the other chapter. We needed to see it happen for the timeline I'm working with. Also I was less cheesy than version one of the discussion.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the feedback as always.

Warmest wishes this holiday season.

Good chapter. I would rather have your version of the sequel instead of an out take. Update soon. :)

Author's Response:

Here is the un-beta’d teaser.

I really hope that Edward has figured it out, it will make his and Bella's life so much better. He truly does over-think everything. It's so simple, maybe that's the problem. If you treat everyone the way you want to be treated, you'll be much happier. At least, the whole family is trying to help and that will remind Edward how much they care.

Author's Response:

Hi again k1942,

Sorry I'm answering all these at once, but I just have not had the time but I always respond.

Little secret, he has, and it will I think. He does, and that is what is standing in their way... partly. Again, you hit the nail on the head.

Thanks again for all the great review and i hope you enjoy the next chapters.

Cheers,

~E

It helps a little to hear Bella's thoughts, and I agree that stuff is better out in the open than festering in side. I'm also thinking Bella and Edward both should be careful of what they say. Some things can't be unsaid.

Author's Response:

Hey k1942,

See I said have a little faith. I could not write that scene as one sides, you need both to understand the hurt and the anger. Yeah, they should have , but they'll have to deal with. I might use that line.... I'll credit you if I do.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Cheers,

Not that he doesn't deserve some punishment, but I think you are being too hard on Edward. There is such a thing as making him too abased, I think it's not  necessary to make him a doormat. Let him make amends, don't emasculate him.

Author's Response:

Hi  k1942,

I know where you're coming from, but it is the only way to make him get it, have a little faith, it'll all work out.

Thanks as always for reading and reviewing.

Cheers,

~E
