i will say I am glad you stopped it where you did with Lee. i was afraid for Evie that it would go further. it will be so difficult as it is with what they went through.

what are the boys going to find when they come over? What will Tom do, knowing what he suspected. oh no, i fear he will have an irrational amount of guilt! and Rob. poor Rob. will have to leave them for budapest!

Oh Steph, you're all caught up! 

Yes, I stopped it where I did because I felt that what they went through in those awful few minutes was enough trauma to deal with.  Their home being invaded like that, the brutality of what followed.  It will be difficult yes, I'm a glutton for punishment. I like to challenge myself!

Fuggles? Eeek! All will be revealed soon. 

Poor Tom, I think he's going to feel very guilty which, as you say, is irrational, as he couldn't have known this would happen.  But still, it's going to be hard for him to reconcile.  And Rob, poor Rob, he's got to leave.  How he's going to deal with that is well....hard.

Hey darlin'!

OMK!!! What in the hell just happened?!! Who and Why?!! A burglary gone wrong, or somethin' more sinister? Please tell us that Evie and Lily will be okay! Oh, God!!! Okay rant put on back burner...for now!

I loved the kitchen convo between Evie and her friends in Wales. It was so real, just as good friends would do! Evie bein' discreet, yet givin' them just enough info to satisfy their curiosity. And her teasin' was great!

The emails betweem Rob an Evie were amazin'! Sweet and funny and serious, all at the same time. The true love they have for one another shinin' through made me smile!

I began to feel uneasy last chapter when Lily was frightened at noises from the garden. Then Tom finds the evidence of tamperin' with the door frame. I knew somethin' was goin' on!

The evening at the Lyric was great! Tom playin' his part well and Marcus entrancin' the crowd. I could feel al the frustration that Rob and Evie did and enjoyed their little interlude in the darkened corner.

Who is the blonde that made such odd comments and actin' strangely? Does she have somethin' to do with the break-in? Was she there to report to the beuglers that the house was empty? So many question to be answered!

Where is Fuggles? Is she okay? Did Evie get raped or did she foil the attempt? The button...or whatever...does it play an important part?

And most unsrttlin' is , how are Rob and Tom goin' to react? I know that they'll be devastated and enraged, but will they be able to cope? Will Rob still leave for Budapest? Or will he stay with Evie, Lili and Tom?

Okay, sweetie, it's up to you to start answerin' these numerous questions and give us MORE PLEASE! You have me on the edge of my seat here!!!

Ellen!  So sorry it's taken me an age to reply to my reviews this time around.  Week has been super dooper hectic!  Anyways, I loved your little rant at the beginning!  The kitchen convo...Yes, Evie gave them just the right amount of info considering they were fan-girling slightly!  Hehee!  I adored writing the emails between Rob and Evie, and I was afraid they might get lost with the way the chapter turned so sinister at the end. Thank you soooo much for pointing them out! 

Hmmn. I was slowly building up to the attack in the last chapter, everything in London Rain happens for a reason!  *cryptic face*

The Lyric.  Well, that was a joy to write, mainly because I was in fact there that night and met Rob and Tom!!  So, in answer to your question about the blonde girl - rest assured, she is nothing to do with the break in, and the odd comments?  Well, *clears throat*, lets just say, meeting Rob was not my finest moment.  I kind of had a verbal vomit, followed by dashing away quickly!!  Haha!  Not everyone knows about my Rob encounter, only those that have visited the forum really.  It was a great night, and I'm glad i didn't ask him for a picture or an autograph or anything, but yeah, I had a total twit moment when I actually approached him.  Oops!

Fuggles?  Would I kill her off?  What do you think?  And no, Evie did not get raped.  She had a few seconds of a rather hideous struggle, but no, it didn't get that far.  Hope that puts your mind at ease.  The button?  Well, it doesn't really signify anything in particular - just that she noticed it in a moment of blind panic.  It's often odd what we notice or take in during a trauma, and for Evie, it was just a snapshot of her mindset.  Like when she saw the picture and thought 'What a mess.'  It's all out of context, and confused, due to her state of mind at the time. 

Rob and Tom.  Hmnn.  It's going to be hard, right?  Will they be able to cope? We'll have to see.  It's going to be particularly hard for Rob, as he has to leave. 

So, hopefully I've quelled a few queries here!  I LOVE your reviews!  Fantastic!  Thank you so, so much hon!

omg. peeing my pants over Mr. P and his advice. seriously. I can hear him saying all of that, and then the little bit of Rob in me wants to get all ewww over the idea of Mum and dad cuddling with dad behind. LOL!

loved this chapter! two blokes out for the night, rob being all insecure and Tom offering advice. and the fact that beneath it all, they really are just a couple of randy buggers at heart who love their girls!

Randy buggers indeed.  Lol!  I really enjoyed writing them just relaxing together and laying all their cards on the table.  I see them as probably flitting from jokes to more serious matters, and it was fun to try and and convey their relationship.  And they do love their girls, a lot.  Ooooh it's all going to go a bit topsy turvy next time though!

Okay, to the less angsty part - that blonde girl in the beanie... hmmm, I wonder if her name was Clare? ;)  I liked that! :) 

And poor RobTwee not being able to touch or anything. :( TORTURE! :)  

Hopefully, Rob comes over to see Twee and finds the girls and everything will be okay.  You did it, Duders.  The scary part is over.

I have to admit, it took me a while to get used to the fact that Tom was telling the story. I kept thinking it was Rob, so when he messaged Lily, I blinked for a second in shock... before remembering. Phew!!

It was lovely to hear some first-hand Tom/Lily interaction. He loves her, awww!

Erm... I don't like the noises outside! It all sounds a bit dodgy to me, especially when you say there's rocky times ahead. Eeeeek! That being said, I really am quite intrigued to see if cooking spray would hurt someone's eyes. Hehee. Would it?!

Loved Richard's email! How cute was Rob reading out his Dad's email on Leno? "Dear Robert..." So formal and sweet!

Awww!  Lovely as ever to hear from you!  Consistency and pressure.  His little mantra!  Thank goodness, eh? 

I knew it would be weird when Tom's POV cropped up.  I was really worried about how people would read him.  I tried to include his character traits that I have developed for the character, so hopefully now it won't be so weird when he crops up again. 

I love Tom and Lily...I love writing them.  This was pure indulgence.

Well, according to Lily, cooking spray is the weapon of choice!  Haha! 

That whole Leno appearance inspired this chapter, as you've probably guessed.  And there's more from Richard in later chapters too.  He seems like such a lovely Dad!  If a little cringey at times!
