i must admit, that as a rule i HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE rape stories. i've never once read one that i've felt accurately handles it as anything other than a convenient plot to get the protagonists together. that said, the way you're handling their relationship, almost as if it were fate, you're tying them together not because bella was raped, but because they were meant to be. you're not babying the relationship, so while they're taking it slow, it's already inevitable that they'll be together, and the rape rescue was merely the one catalyst that brought them together, but their love is such that they would still come together even without it. instead then, this story, which is what makes me like it, is about them dealing with their inner traumas; healing and growing together as two damaged people. so i applaud you, for writing the only rape story i've ever read that hasn't left me furious and thinking the author is abominably callous.
Author's Response: i promised myself that if i was going to write this story i was going to write it as realistically as possible. i didn't want their pain and the fact that they were damaged to take away from their love and the fact that they truly needed each other. i'm so glad that you like it, i didn't want it to be like other rape stories.

Awww, I'm glad things are starting to work out for her. Lord knows she needs it. I mean those thinga James did to her...no punishment is befitting of his sorry ass. A lifetime of suffering wouldn't even make up for what Bella endured. I'm so glad she decided to move in with Edward and they're unofficially engaged aren't they? Nice chapter. Can't wait for more!

TALK DAMNIT! I really love how simply and forthright Alice was telling Bella that she needed to share or she wouldn't be able to move on. I think this is a good place to go. The conversation won't be good or easy, but it needs to be had.

Dang, what I wouldn't give for an Edward of your creation! It's great to see EVERYONE together in this chapter. To see Bella once again interacting with Carlisle and Esme. To know that Edward really is a changed man, for the better. I'm so looking forward to the next update. I'm enjoying watching their relationship grow and change. As the same happens to Bella and she begins to feel safe and comfortable with Edward.
