Another great chapter. As I said before, I really like Bella and Edward together. They're opening up. I really didn't think Edward would Tell her only four days after they met, about Cynthia. I think it's good he did though. It felt good anyway.
he's starting to feel more for Bella. he feels at ease with her, he likes talking to her. her love for cars is also a good thing. The fact that she loves Henry and the way they are together is also a great thing. When they end up together in the future, he won't have to worry of Henry excepting Bella into his life.
Yes, Edward should ask the boyfriend question. he should also ask about her past. Her relationship with her family. I want to know about her past ;)
I think he's referring to Bella as a woman because of his changing feelings. maybe soon he won't think of marie anymore. then again, the coming weekend he'll talk to her again.
Still I hope he's going to see Bella with her hair down, without glasses. Even if her eyes are brown in stead of blue, I hope he'll see she's gorgeous.

It probably does seem sudden, but with Edward being a lonely man for a few years, only having women for sex, he's finding himself comfortable, relaxed and accepted by Bella, so he's thrilled to be able to talk. ;) Some people have an instant connection, and while E&B aren't "instant" his feelings towards her are growing quickly. *winks*

I think subconsciously Edward knows something about Bells is familiar. I also see your setting us up for some angst, once he figures things out. In Bella's defense, even though she is lying to him, she is not trying to seduce him or 'get in his pants', as Edward mentioned. He should take that into account once the ball drops. And yes, the fact Edward is noticing her more as a woman and is worried about her 'status', is very good. HeHe.
I wonder why Rose didn't tell Bella about Cynthia?

I cried when Edward told Bella about Cynthia. It was so touching and sad, yet he was willing to share that part of his past with her. What was it that made Edward bitter, though? A part of me thinks that Rose might have done something during her pregnancy to put her child at risk. Did she drink or do too much physical activity? Did she not want the baby and so was not upset when they lost her? Or, was she cheating on Edward when she was pregnant? I'd really like to know! And I hope that Bella can open up to Edward about her past soon... except the Marie part... she can wait to tell him that...

This was incredibly sweet - I DID notice Edward is referring to Bella as a woman, and I think that the change their attitudes towards each other was perfect. Early on, there was so much keeping them from being themselves that they sort of stunted the natural growth of a relationship, what with Bella being afraid of being recognized and Edward mourning Cynthia's anniversary, etc. I expected Cynthia to have been older when she died, I didn't expect miscarriage, not that it really matters - it's still so tragic. I never knew about the koi, that was an interesting fact.
