Edward took it better than I thought he would.  He needs to man up and be honest about much of it to everyone.  And, of course, he's going to wait a while to go after Bella.  :)

Interesting conversation between them.  I'm glad Bella came clean on her own...Edward does have a right to feel betrayed and wronged.  I have no idea where you're headed next...

I feel like Edward overreacted. Bella didn't "trick" him into bed. He went just as willingly and it's not her fault he overlooked her so much as a person he couldn't recognize her. He's as much to blame for the situation as Bella is. Granted she knew the entire time, but if he hadn't treated her so poorly to begin with he probably would have recognized her or she wouldn't have been so afraid to tell him who she was.

I'm sorry if it feels like I'm ranting. It was a great chapter and I truly liked how you wrote the whole confrontation/confession, but I feel like the blame was being solely placed on Bella with Edward acting like the betrayed saint. I feel if Edward goes looking into Bella's past or should there be another confrontation Bella needs to take him down a notch or two because she isn;t the only one who screwed up.

Good reveal - lovely angst, and more approaching I imagine...

She should disappear.  He should chase her later, after he's had time to properly miss her. :-) Maybe he'll find himself doing some morally questionable stalking or digging to find her/learn about her and have to forgive her for her own indiscretions?   He should tell Henry the truth - Bella loves him, but she doesn't work there anymore.

He should lie to Rose.  If he tells her the truth, both he and Bella will look bad because Rose will assume Edward did something wrong and blame it on him anyway.  If he lies and says Bella had an emergency - schedule change - anything - it's just an unfortunate circumstance she had to leave and they both come out looking good - and there's no reason to stress Rose out any more than she's going to be looking for a new nanny anyway!

Oh.   My.   Gawd.  I'm a blubbering mess..literally!! If that wasn't a heartbreaking chapter, I don't know what is. The line that really made my heart ache is "I dragged in a deep breath, knowing all too well what it was like to feel lonely, to crave another's touch, to feel wanted for just a night" Cuz I very sadly know EXACTLY how that feels. *sigh*

One of many things that really really pisses me off is why are women sluts & whores? What are the men that fuck those women called??? Studs? I absolutely HATE that double standard, ya know?

Anyhow, I think HE owes her an apology. She stated very good reasons for her actions, acknowledged she was wrong & apologized. HE should know she's not the type who'd deliberately hurt anyone.  I hope she makes him grovel for awhile. *humpf*crosses arms & looks away.  Great job..Linda

Ahhh...Edward must forgive her and find her and f*ck the living daylights out of her! Yay....

I don't know whether to say 'poor Bella', or rub my hands that he finally knows and one way or another, they'll move forward.
