I love that her scent is love-evoking rather than forcing him to try to keep from killing her. Really different to see Edward kind of jumping in w/both feet. Kind of a relief, actually, because I doubt he'll be eager to leave her. You should keep posting this.

This is interesting. I like the way you've gotten into the meat rather than dwell on the details most of us already know from the books. that's one thing that kills fics for me these days given that 99% of us have read the books and know the canon mechanics. Sometimes authors go on for chapters talking about backstories and things from the book we already know. I like that i didn't have to re-read through "the history of twilight" before getting to the Edward and Bella interactions.

I like your take on Edward too. Refreshing to say the least. ;)

This is a great beginning. I love that immediate connection between Edward and Bella. I particularly like how Edward embraces it, instead of fighting it. I look forward to more.
