Oh Steph, your characters just always make me laugh! No matter how many times I read and re read a chapter it always seems so fresh and fun. And I wonder, is it too late for me to start a new tradition of Christmas tree shopping? it seems very rewarding!
Oh but how could Rob mock the tradition of sending a letter to Santa? Sitting on some strange guys knee, yes, definetly suspect, but writing to santa? No, thats fun.
I can't understand how Rob managed not to strangle his sisters when he was growing up. However, they probably single handedly caused Rob's ineffectedness with girls through his teenaged years, so we and Jen should be thanking them.
Ah, such good times these two are having. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. So much to look forward to; Rob and his Dad having some man to man chats while moving furniture? Giving taxi drivers a thrill in Liverpool? Sigh.
Thanks for bringing us another chapter, ALWAYS a welcome sight in my inbox.

Author's Response: mostly its FAther Christmas i have found. but the Santa's Tree Farm is real, and i have seen adbertisements when i did my research on britain. so sad. we have infiltrated a bit. I bet Mum and Nana still call him Father Christmas.

What a wonderful surprise this morning!!!! I was up to date with chapters on both stories and was beginning to feel first pangs of withdrawal. You made my day!! you know what a fan I am.
I've asked for an Ipod for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I told my son I had a few songs to help me download -- He asked me was I turning into a techno geek! I truly am in awe at your choice of music for each chapter. So many genres. After all the twilight CD's and my favorites I am sure many of your list will make it there also.

So, it appears that Rob WAS able to think during their tree time activities! ;)
I really love just how much love I feel between the two of them when I read this. You can feel it tug at your heart and it makes me thankful that I have a husband who also loves like that and wants those things for me and us. It also makes me a little sad for real Rob, because how long is it going to be before he can actually have that?
That aside, I really do feel that love and care when I read your Rob/Jen stories. :) You're an amazing writer, Steph!

I always loved Rob POVs. Even if this story wasn't so well-written, I'd still love it for the fact that Rob talks to us in it. I've already read the first 23 chepters before, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to reread them...I love the way you represent Rob.

Its interesting to see how Rob's mind works as he tries to deal with his anger via the punching bag. It has also given me some insight into how & why Rob reacts to the miscarriage later in the story and why he was so upset at not being told immediately and angry with Jen for making the decision for him (to put the filming first).
Well written Steph....only part I didn't like was Rob's angry thoughts (twice) to fuck Jen to death!?! Maybe just fuck her to within an inch of her life?...or fuck her to oblivion?...but to death? Rob's way too sweet to be in a snuff fic, even if he is really angry and needing some release!
As always, loving your stories, and hanging out for updates!

he is very sensitive to the handling. the fact that Jen feels the need to buffer for him is an issue he really doesn't deal with until later. and even then.... hmmmm.
