I am glad you are going to concentrate on NTE next, though. We need to know what is happening with Jen.

so I finally am reading the last 2 chapters.. it's been a crazy week... and knowing what is to come especially after reading the latest NTE I was just afraid of the hf to come.. and even though the seperation is coming very soon.. this whole chapter was freaking HOT!!! Steph, even knowing that they will get back together this kills me to read. I love getting in Rob's brain. I just realized that you have been using "British English" spelling when writing OTT. That is so cool. The thought you put into both these stories just blow's my mind! I do a little happy dance every time I see your updates! I know I've told you that before on the boards, but it's worth repeating! I know tears are coming (from both sides), but we can get through all of them.
Author's Response: hi my dear! heehee... yep.. i'm crazy... i've been writing it in Brit English... hahaha. and it was REALLY hard at first...so many nuances... now i find myself only writing in it (there are a few slip ups in these more recent chapters of NTE..hahah)
yeah... hard times coming... whew... this will be a difficult couple of weeks to be sure.. thank god for Eclipse opening this week! some kind of reprieve from the angst!

I've just realised I didn't come back and leave a review for this chapter, and I woke up this morning and found There is a new chapter of NTE up too! So, sorry for the delay. My only excuse, and actually I think it is a pretty good one, is that I was seriously distracted by red Gucci suits. Although, to be honest, I'm reserving judgement on the suit. It is growning on me, but slowly!
It is so good to see this from Robs POV. And if you hadn't already written it, it wouldnt have surprised me if they never left the island! But Rob is concious of all his commitments and is thinking long term with Jen. So romantic! I'm quite sure real guys are NOT like this!
I loved his meeting with the fans. The 'bouncy' one. so funny.
OK, can't wait any longer, going to head on over now and read the new NTE chapter!

The Mack Truck name is funny. He was w/Rob at the NM premiere. Well he's with him almost all the time and I wonder how his wife and family handle him being gone so much! But I digress...
Security at the NM premiere was intense. At the theater, I was standnig outside the bathroom and I knew Rob was in it b/c Mack Truck was standing outside of it too. When Rob came out, Mack Truck held his hands out like we were gonna rush Rob. I mean, really? (ok, i did want to ask Rob is he needed help with his zipper or something but that's just me). We were at a red carpet event, not standing in the street. And damn, I had on my 4" snakeskin shoes! At the after party, we couldn't even get close to Rob or Kristen. Security had those ear pieces with speakers in their wrists so they could talk to eachother. It was something out of Inspector Gadget. I was like "really?" . Here we all are, dressed up and in our finest attire and he was acting like we were screaming fan girls on the streets of NYC.
So I wanted to offer my services...I'd love to do a polyvore for a future red carpet type event for Rob and Jen. You know how to reach me...
Excited b/c just got an update that NtE just posted chapter 56!

Yay for the latest update because it means you'll be giving us the latest update to NTE but OMG...why do these chapters kill me so? Why is it that I know what's going to happen, yet it still makes me want to cry to see Rob & Jen ripped apart so needlessly?
Even knowing what's to come and that they will be together again, it kills me to read about their pain. Especially Rob's for some reason because I guess it solidifies and makes reality in my own mind the pressure he must be under. The expectations he must feel and then to not even be allowed the experience of being with the person he wants... I can't imagine what that'd feel like.
Author's Response: LOL! yep, the newest NTE should be up in a couple days, if not sooner... hehehe
Isn't it strange how we KNOW what is going to happen and it grips you, so strongly? I am really excited about LA, because it is something we DON'T know... i mean, we KNOW he was distraught, we know he was going mad... but we don't REALLY know... i can't wait to get there... thus the double posting of OTT this week...
I am so glad you feel the pressure Rob must be under...he has to be "this" guy that the fans adore... that the fans can ogle and lust over... he has that "image" he has to put out, another character if you will. When all he really wants is to relax, hang out and joke with his mates, fall in love...hell, just go out on a normal date! there are so many things he CAN'T do....
sigh... price of fame? maybe to some degree...

I don't know which story I like better, Steph! This one or NTE! I rec both all the time on Twitter and ephasize that you have to read both but I think starting with NTE is the best thing to do.

FINALLY got to read this update...I needed a time where I was sitting for more than 10 minutes...
I have been lucky enough to have several Rob dreams over the last few months...I have yet to wake up as Jen just did...YOWZA!
Ugh...I could feel the tension of their last morning...how desperately they wanted to hang onto the place where they found each other. I wanted to go slash her tires just to help them out!

Hello, ET! Rob and his wake-up call sex... I love that she tells him she dreams of him all the time. Lovely, crazy number one!
The longing was so sweet in this chapter. My heart breaks for him knowing how he's about to surrender control over everything to a maddening lunatic with no respect for true love. Ahem. Sorry. But every fiber of his being is telling him that things are about to go sideways. It's just... guh.
I laughed when he thought about how he'd react to a male friend of Jen's. Jealousy issues, Rob? Really? That has to be hard-wired since we all channel it. Heh heh. And seeing the fan meeting on the ferry from his POV was excellent. His mind wandering to Jen and Mike duking it out. Too funny.
So the next chapter is going to make my heart hurt and the one after that is going to destroy me. Post them soon, dear! My funk needs reading accompaniment!
