Summary: AU. A powerful group of humans know of the existence of vampires and werewolves and strict rules are in place for the uneasy coexistence between the three kinds. Transforming humans without tacit permission is banned and all violators and victims are ordered destroyed. Bella was attacked when she was eight years old but miraculously survived. She returns to Forks during her junior year in high school and encounters the Olympic Coven. Against her will, she is drawn to Edward Cullen and into the dangerous world of shifting loyalties and deadly intrigue.

Shy Bella is a recent college graduate working in a record store.  She spends her days lusting after a sexy doctor with amazing green eyes. On her last day of work, someone rocks her world. Guess who?  Set in the 80s.  This was originally a one shot for an 80s music contest, but I'm going to expand it.  

Jacob comes back just before Bella's wedding, and she is quite excited to see him. When she gets morning sickness on her honeymoon, everyone believes that it's Edward's baby... but Bella isn't so sure.

Bella still suffers from the loss of Edward and she has invented a new method to keep her distant lover close. But she didn't count on two things. One - her plan could cause her to lose her best friend forever. And two - she is starting to realize that maybe he is more than just a friend. Jacob/Bella

One year changes the lives of Jacob and Edward forever. Their hate and misunderstanding toward each other eventually turns into a forbidden romance that threatens to tear them, their friends and their families apart.

A pretty picture this paints indeed, except for the underlying tragedies one family has gone through and the pain the other has yet to experience. Bella Swan moves to Forks during her sophomore year in high school, and becomes involved with Mike Newton.  Things are growing more intense between them, but Bella is reluctant to take the next step.  Why?  Because Bella is in love with a beautiful and mysterious man that she has been dreaming of since her childhood.

Bella must choose -- should she cling to a dream, or should she learn to accept what is right in front of her?  And how will her choice be affected when a strange, new family moves to town and suddenly she is face to face with the man of her dreams?
