My first short story...

Tired of her advances getting repeatedly rebuffed by Edward, Bella enlists the help of Alice and Rosalie, to engage in the art of seduction in order for her to break down his defences. Will it work? Will she get what she wants? Will she learn and perfect the art?

“He’s engaged,” Angela blurts out in the middle of dinner.  Once those words escape from her mouth, I know nothing will ever be the same again.

Isabella Marian Navarre, otherwise known as Maid Marian is engaged to marry the next King of England, but has other plans for herself.  She longs for freedom and the free agency to choose her future, so she runs away with the help of her friend and companion Alice.  On the way to their new life, they are nearly attacked in Sherwood Forrest, but Robin Hood's Merry Men save them and take them back to their little village to care for them.  The things Bella learns shape her into one of the greatest Queens and leaders of her time and the things she teaches help to form a new world for the people of her country.

They were both on an old, rural, logging route learning to deal with the hand that was dealt to them.  Edward Cullen was dealing with the horrors of his past, whereas Bella Swan was trying to move forward the best she could.  One of the worst storms in North Carolina brought the two of them together.  Can Edward teach Bella how to trust again, and can Bella teach Edward he is worth more than he thinks?  Loosely inspired by The Rescue.
