Under the guise of the wedding Bella is determined to find out who killed her sister and why. Along the way she will reconnect t with old friends and loves, namely Edward Cullen. Bella better be careful what she wished for, the truth doesn't always set you free and in a town like Rivers Falls some secrets are better off staying buried.

Four years ago, Bella and her brother vanished. This is a story of finding your way back to happiness after your world has been torn apart. Mainly told from Bella and Charlie's POV.

A succubus is a female demonic legendary creature who seduces men in their sleep. Similar to a vampire, succubi draw energy from men to sustain themselves. In modern times, a succubus may or may not appear in dreams and is often portrayed as a highly attractive seductress or enchantress.

Things can be very dull in the slow days of 1906. Madhuri and her ‘sisters’ had their jobs to do as did anyone else, but they do their business in the dark.

Madhuri has been living in the town brothel for years, pleasing men and the occasional woman for her pay check. Her only escape from her shameful world was the four books of the blessed Twilight Saga. The fictional character, Edward Cullen, became the love of her life and the center of her universe. She held this love deep in her heart, praying to any God she could think of to bring her, her Edward. All Madhuri wants is to let Edward know how she feels.

What was so simple in the moonlight by the morning seems insane.

This story begins by re-imagining a favorite scene from Eclipse, in which Edward and Bella are stuck in a blizzard and must call on Jacob to keep Bella warm.  The original scene hints at Bella's curiosity, Edward's awareness, and Jacob's animal lust, and the possibilities that lie within that love triangle.  This version asks, what if Bella knew exactly what she wanted? What if Edward's long-dormant humanity were finally sparked? And what if Jacob's fantasy finally came true?

"Anything I had ever felt, allowed myself to feel, had been only a hint, a taste, a glimmer of that all-consuming heat.  That heat that Bella had plunged me headlong into, mercilessly immersing me in Jacob’s subconscious, ruthlessly repaying me for her months of frustration.  Teaching me desire in one cold, confusing night."

His question brought Bella back down from cloud nine. She glowered at him. “Bite me.”

A slow, wicked grin etched itself on Edward’s face. “I don’t think you’d want me to,” he whispered darkly, laughing silently at the irony of her insult.

Bella glared at him. “You can’t just order me around like that.”

“Bella, you may have a concussion. You hit your head how many times? Two?” Edward asked.

Bella paused and then, “Three,” she admitted reluctantly.

“You don’t understand,” Edward said in a deadly tone.

Bella stared at him for a moment, a bitter expression overcoming her features. “There’s something for me to understand?”

“Fuck her!” She heard one of them call.

“Oh, I will,” the man above her answered.

Her smile faded after a moment when she realized something. “Oh, great,” she started grumpily, “we match.”

Edward grinned lopsidedly. “Indeed, we do,” he replied.

“You’re funny,” Edward said dryly. “I bet you wouldn’t be saying the same thing if you were the one who turned up missing.”

“Are you trying to scare me, Mr. Cullen?” Bella asked as she snapped a picture.

Bella, listen to me,” he tried coaxing her gently.

“No!” Bella shouted, pulling her arms out of his grip. “I never want to see you again. Stay away from me,” she said through clenched teeth, and no matter what she did, she couldn’t stop the tears from falling.

He cupped her face with both hands while looking into her eyes. “If you don’t find me, who’s killed before, whose diet consists of blood, repulsive, how can I look at you in that way?” he asked her softly.

"What kind of man are you?!” Bella pushed and slapped his chest as she raged. She was becoming unhinged.

“Bella, don’t come,” her mother said weakly. “Whatever he says, don’t come—” 

“No! That’s not what you’re supposed to say!” a voice exclaimed in the background.

A tear escaped Bella’s eye as she listened to her mother’s cries as he hit her.

Edward nodded. “You’re safe now, Bella,” he told her tenderly as he softly massaged her cheek.

An ill tempered Bella and an easily annoyed Edward don't exactly mix well...at all. Will these two see each other only through their all-encompassing hatred, or will certain events open their eyes to the soul within? Why is it that their paths always seem to cross?

Paige Jane Larson grew up wanting very little for herself. Her childhood was filled with many attempts at spoiling by her doting, and very wealthy, parents. None of this affected Paige.
