Summary:
This story is set during New Moon. Edward has left, and as we all know, he left behind him a fragile Bella and an angry and hurt Victoria.
No one stopped to think that Victoria's feelings for James were as intense as those between Bella and Edward, and that the pain of losing James could be as consuming as Edward's pain at leaving Bella. Every decision we make, whether right or wrong, is full of consequences...and sooner or later, life makes us all pay for our mistakes...

"My cousin says he looks really weird, very young, like 17-18, but he looks like he's very sick or in pain or something, and he is very pale. He asked him if he's alright, but the guy said that he is only tired after the trip. Still my cousin said he saw no one looking that bad, not even after a 14-hour drive, and he has seen some of those drivers. He said that this boy looks like...well, like he's dying."

Suddenly I stop, remembering. He came to meet me. I don't remember what we said, it does not matter anyway, and it was all lies. I just remember his face and his eyes, the light in those mild grey-blue eyes, the gentleness, and the tenderness. I want to drown in those feelings, and his warm arms are around me, embracing me. The light shines out with more power, attracting me like a moth to the flame, and I melt in his embrace. The light fills everything around me and it's so warm, so warm. I want to stay like this for all eternity, there is no pain and my heart is at peace. And then....the light is gone in his eyes, a shiver runs through his body, and there is only fear there, and confusion. He lets his arms fall and takes a step back. The pain of this loss is...excruciating, and my hard body trembles. I feel like being left out in the cold.

Summary:
